Lighting concept
Harmonikamanufaktur Schwarz
Industrial lighting
with heart and mind
Harmonikamanufaktur Schwarz is a traditional family business with a focus on high-quality craftsmanship and a clear view of the future. When the company was planning a new building to modernise and expand its production, the lighting solution played a central role right from the start - not only functionally, but also as an integral part of the brand identity. Five lighting companies competed against each other in the selection process, with Harmonikamanufaktur using a differentiated evaluation system: product quality, consulting services, technical expertise, planning expertise and price were each assessed according to the school grading system. Molto Luce came out on top with a score of 1.0 - a clear sign of the trust placed in our comprehensive project expertise.

What makes the project special
It is not only the technical realisation that is outstanding, but also the philosophy of the company: a small but extremely future-oriented manufactory that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern company management. This value-orientated attitude is also reflected in the cooperation - based on partnership, transparency and goal-orientation.
Customised lighting solution
with a traditional focus
Molto Luce not only impressed with its high-quality luminaires, but above all with its comprehensive consulting services, well thought-out lighting design and an ‘all-round service’ that goes far beyond delivery. Our strength lies in precisely identifying individual requirements and translating them into customised solutions - an aspect that Harmonikamanufaktur particularly appreciated.
Control and technology
The lighting concept was customised to the specific requirements of the various zones. A DALI control system was used, which offers maximum flexibility in lighting control - for example, for daylight adaptation or needs-based illumination. The use of HCL or additional sensors was deliberately avoided, as the focus was on clearly structured, uniform illumination.
Safety aspects and functional benefits
Particular attention was paid to the production hall: here, illuminance of 1200 lux ensures optimum visibility - a crucial contribution to preventing accidents at work and promoting employee concentration. In the timber warehouse, the focus was on a particularly high colour rendering index (CRI) in order to display the natural colours of the wood correctly and without distortion - a must when inspecting the quality of materials.
All advantages at a glance
- High illumination of the production hall for maximum work safety and precision
- High CRI value in the timber warehouse for authentic colour rendition
- Modern design and planning in the consultation and customer area, matching the brand identity
- Intelligent control via DALI, easy to operate and flexible
- Comprehensive support from initial consultation and lighting design through to final commissioning
