The challenge
Underground car parks are among the most demanding applications in building lighting. The requirements are:
- high traffic safety
- uniform illumination
- low operating costs
- reliable operation
- high resistance to external influences (dirt, etc.)
- easy maintenance and adaptability
In addition, the lighting system should be flexibly expandable and adaptable to future requirements without complex rewiring.
Our lighting solution
All these demanding requirements were solved by using Trail track systems including CUBIC OPAL light inserts:
- Power per luminaire: 33 W
- Luminous flux: 5,170 lm
- Luminous efficacy: 156.7 lm/W
The lighting system was supplemented by a Bluetooth Mesh standalone control system based on Silvair technology. Molto Luce handled the lighting design, installation, and commissioning on site, thereby delivering a turnkey complete solution.
