The project involved the lighting of an underground car park for the furniture giant XXXLutz in Linz. Our goal was clearly defined from the outset: the underground car park was to be equipped with a modern, energy-efficient and intuitively controllable lighting concept. The focus was on cost-effectiveness, safety and maximum functionality in everyday life.

What makes the project special
The implementation at XXXLutz shows how underground car park lighting is thought of today: far more than just functional. Thanks to the use of the TRAIL IP54 and TRAIL CUBIC WB IP54 product series with indirect light component, not only was high-quality illumination achieved, but also an appealing lighting atmosphere - a plus point for users and employees. The control concept is outstanding: Bluetooth Mesh enables wireless communication between the sensors and lighting zones, supported by the Sivair app for convenient and intuitive operation. In combination with integrated BT Mesh sensors (type 3360) and motion detection, the result is a system that responds precisely to the usage situation - efficient and future-orientated.

What characterised us in this project was not only the product selection, but in particular the individual and holistic support. From the detailed efficiency and investment calculation to the professional commissioning on site by our own team, the customer was offered a seamless service. The ability to customise the system precisely to the requirements of the business and the room structure made the difference to the competition.
Control and technology
A stand-alone Bluetooth mesh control system was used - wireless, flexible and low-maintenance. The TRAIL sensors 3360 are integrated directly into the rails and ensure automatic motion detection.
Safety aspects and functional benefits
The lighting concept significantly improves orientation and perception throughout the underground car park. Intelligent occupancy detection helps to avoid unnecessary energy consumption and minimise safety risks at the same time. The system only switches on light where it is actually needed - and does so at lightning speed.
