Light that brings products to life

For the EDEKA store in Gaimersheim, Molto Luce developed a comprehensive lighting and acoustic concept that combines functional requirements with atmospheric design. The aim was to create a store that offers clear orientation, pleasant acoustics and a modern lighting mood – all while operating energy-efficiently.

The concept blends uniform general lighting with targeted highlights to clearly structure the different product zones and showcase them to their best advantage. In the bistro area, acoustically effective BAFFEL elements in combination with LOON pendant luminaires create a calm and welcoming atmosphere. In the fruit and vegetable section, adjustable MOVA spotlights enable a flexible product presentation, while the LOG 50 system in a custom green finish provides orientation and visually reinforces the store’s fresh-produce concept.

In the frozen food area, VALO in royal blue light colour sets crisp, cool accents that sharply define product structures. Areas such as meat, fish and cheese are authentically illuminated using recessed MOVA spotlights with specialised light colours. The result is a holistic shopping experience that intuitively guides customers through the store, making the diversity of products tangible in a calm and high-quality setting.
