Lighting and acoustic solutions that transform working environments

A functional existing office was turned into a contemporary workplace with character.
The refurbishment of the Bürogebäude München demonstrates how targeted lighting and acoustic solutions can not only improve spaces but redefine them entirely.

Initially, the focus was on a pure lighting solution. But after visiting the showroom, it became clear: light alone is not enough. The decision was made in favour of a combination of Log 50 luminaires and acoustic baffles – a system that integrates lighting and room acoustics while allowing full, non-destructive access to ceiling installations.

The challenge lay in the existing structure: uneven ceilings, height differences, and crooked walls required precise planning and flexible installation. This is where the system proved its strength. After initial experiences with a rail solution, the project switched to the new clamp rail – a turning point. Installation became easier, faster, and significantly more efficient.

The result is a clear, structured ceiling landscape that visibly organises technology, noticeably improves acoustics, and creates a pleasant working atmosphere through integrated lighting.

The project planning was carried out by CSMM GmbH, complemented by bespoke joinery work and the kitchenette by Baierl & Demmelhuber Innenausbau GmbH.
