Chamber of Commerce Upper Austria
New "House of Economy" adds noticeable value to the existing building.
Molto Luce had the privilege of designing and implementing the lighting concept for the new "House of Economy" of the WKO Upper Austria in Linz. In collaboration with TB Freudenthaler and under the leadership of F2 Architects, a modern, functional and energy-efficient lighting system was developed that supports the open and dynamic architecture. The complex includes three levels with an integrated underground car park, with 90 percent of the construction carried out by companies from Upper Austria. Each lighting element from Molto Luce was carefully selected and custom-integrated to perfectly implement the architects’ vision and the WKOÖ’s requirements.
Project Goal:
The overarching goal was to create an inviting, multifunctional space for entrepreneurs, youth, media and politics that promotes transparency, flexibility and innovation — a goal that was impeccably achieved.
Key Highlights:
-
The digitally designed Julius Raab Band with mirrored glass and 40 screens.
-
The Talent Space for youth with colourful design and flexible lighting.
-
Media rooms with professional lighting for interviews and conferences.
-
Sustainable, energy-efficient lighting also in the underground car park with the RIDE system IP54.
This project impressively demonstrates how Molto Luce supports architectural visions with innovative lighting solutions while meeting high functional and aesthetic standards.
